Project Overview
For this project, I was asked to animate an existing logo and have it reveal over 15-30 seconds.

Concept
My concept for this logo is to create a motion graphic that is not only fluid and fun but also to create something that represents me as a designer. For this animation, I am using a logo I created for my personal brand using my initials. I decided to use this logo as it represents my personal design style but is also clean, simple and flows. The target audience for this motion graphic would be anyone that works in the design industry or is inspired by other graphic designers. The target audience plays into how my logo is revealed as I want it to be something that would be visually appealing and unique to other designers. Style Frames
These were the style frames I came up with for my storyboard. I included more final graphic elements such as colours and lines to depict motion in these frames. I changed a few things like the colour of my logo and making the background black. As you can see, the ball is what helps my logo reveal come to life. I wasn’t completely sure how I was going to make this ball move the way I needed to but my next step was to look for tutorials or ideas on how to create this animation in after effects.
Final Animation
After many iterations and a lot of editing to get the timing of the ball and sound in place, this was the final product.
